Singh is king!!!

That’s what every news channel and blog post is saying. For sure singh is surely the king.

Firstly congratulations to the Congress and all the  allies supporting it. They took the tough decision at sacrificed their chance to stay longer in power for the good of the country. If you go by history, i don’t think any government has ever taken such a tough decision. All credit to Dr manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi.

Secondly, all the drama that took place in the parliament with the MP showing the money was completely out of place. It aactually had an anti effect and showed the desperation of BJP esp. L.K Advani to became the next prime minister. But take my word Advani sahab, you are now out the race in the next general elections. Anyways RSS did give you a nice bashing for running around the bitch MAYAWATI. You should have thought a 100 times before asking your Mp to do such a thing, what a bad name it has brought to the BJP.

Thirdly, the left is finished now. They have actually lead to there own downfall.Had the same deal taken place with china, they wouldn’t have spoken a word against it. Now the youth wont accept them at all. And in my opinion, they should be completely shunned for there narrow mindset and orthodox thinking. They should be given a break from politics, all they old dead men must retire and a new set of people with new ideology must enter the political arena. May be then they might make same sense in what they say and do.

Finally, it all looks very nice and rosy ahead. the left is out, reforms will surely come. With the general elections coming ahead, they will be quick and for the people. crude is cooling down, so again good news. inflation is also peaking hence it looks like a downtrend from here on. Stock markets will love this and so will people like me. So i wont be surprised if the UPA comes to power again in the next general elections and take this country forward…

GOOGLE GOES VIRTUAL

Google steps into the  virtual world of 3D

Its easy,simple and straight….

Now you can be anyone or anything you want to be – online. With www.lively.com, even Google is stepping into the world of 3D. And it may be the answer to your wildest dreams.

Download a simple plugin and voila, it is virtual reality at your fingertips. You can even join a room and choose your virtual character. But how’s this different from other virtual worlds like Second Life?

Lively is accessed over your web browser, which means no large software downloads. And your personal room can be embedded into your own web page. It even works with Facebook and chat.

Virtual Worlds Expert, Rahul Dutta says, “I hate it. It required way too much bandwdth to run properly and because it’s a new application and it crashes often. But I see what Google’s doing. They are trying to bring Web 3D or virtual reality into the mainstream.”

www.vivaty.com and www.imvu.com all let you experience virtual reality. They both require you to download players but claim to work seamslessly with social networks. And since they have beeen around longer than Lively, the bugs are fewer and far between.

Although all these applications are still being tested, what you see is a clear step from two dimensional to three dimensional characters changing the way you interact online…

iPhone 2.0 unlocked

iPhone 2.0 unlocked, iPhone 3G will hopefully follow soon

Last weekend saw the introduction of an unlock solution for the latest iPhone firmware. The first-gen iPhone users will now be able to enjoy 2.0 firmware with any SIM card. The iPhone 3G is not there yet, but there’s some progress and we hope it would get unlocked some time soon too.

The popular iPhone Dev Team has

come up with the latest version of their all-in-one Pwnage tool for setting your iPhones free via customized firmwares – much like the Windows Mobile community does it. However with the Pwnage Tool you can cook your own firmwares customized to your liking

.

For those of you that are new to Pwning here’s a brief and simplified explanation. You take an original iPhone firmware file (freely downloadable), you run it through the Pwnage tool customizing stuff on the way (such as pre-installed a

pplications, setups, even custom graphics) and finally you apply it to the iPhone the regular iTunes way. It’s that simple.

The new Pwnage 2.0 tool now allows you to (h)activate, jailbreak and unlock the first-gen iPhone running the latest 2.0 software. It’s a major upgrade to the iPhone functionality and actually makes the original iPhone software identical to the iPhone 3G.

8 megapixel X908

8 megapixel X908 flaunts 3x optical zoom and dualSIM support

Seemingly a perfect blend between a full-size camera lens and a mobile phone, the X908 is one intriguing piece of Chinese engineering. Add dual SIM support and built-in analog TV tuner and you’ve got yourself a tasty package.

With a retractable 3x optical zoom lens on the back and a 2 megapixel camera on the front, the X908 should probably be counted as one high-end cameraphone. With a yet unidentified brand, the X908 packs dual SIM, dual microSD slot design and offers a 262K-color touchscreen 3-inch QVGA TFT display for watching your favorite TV shows on-the-go. There’s also a built-in FM radio tuner and stereo Bluetooth (A2DP).

Samsung i900 Omnia, one of the hottest mobile phones of the year, is just about to hit the European shelves. The official launch event will be held only a week from now in Italy where the Omnia will debut.

The otherwise impressive Samsung i900 Omnia will make an appearance with an unsurpassed bundle. A free Xbox 360 gaming console will be available to users who pre-order the device.

Yeah, you got that right – everyone who places a pre-order on the Samsung i900 Omnia (as of July 14) will receive a free Xbox 360 once the handset actually starts retailing.

Orders can be placed through Media World stores across Italy. Sounds quite a deal at 499 euro (for the 8GB version) a piece, doesn’t it? This is not a subsidized price so prices will become even more affordable once mobile carriers take the plunge.

The Samsung i900 Omnia will hit the Italian market on July 22 and will be available in all major European countries and other GSM markets before the end of August.

Enthusiastic new iPhone owners are starting to sound like the cast of long-running stage musical: “I Love you, You’re Perfect, Now Change.”

Only days after snapping up the latest iPhone, they still glow over their purchase – but already are brainstorming ideas Steve Jobs could use for Apple Inc’s next iPhone.

In comparison to last year’s model, the latest iPhone’s snappier Web speeds, better sound quality, location-aware navigation, and third-party application store left new owners with no doubts that waiting in line for hours was worth it.

But even the happiest among them offered tips for improvements for the iPhone – at heart a powerful computer and communications device – as well as reasons why it won’t completely replace other gear such as BlackBerrys or laptops.

Some of the gripes appeared easy to fix, while others may take a bit more work by Apple engineers.

A common one was about the inability to copy and paste text on the iPhone. Users of the Research in Motion BlackBerry or Palm Inc’s Treo can easily copy numbers or text from an e-mail and send them to a friend on the go.

“I’m still very confused why they don’t let you copy and paste on the phone,” said Nick Divers, 22, of New York, an aspiring filmmaker who traded his Treo for an iPhone. “I’ve upgraded to a better product that can’t do one simple thing.”

Shervin Pishevar, 34, head of Social Gaming Network, said the lack of copy and paste was a reason why he stopped using the first iPhone about three months after he bought it.

Still, Pishevar and his son camped out in Palo Alto, California, to buy the new iPhone. He lauded new applications from the “silly” PhoneSaber, which mimics the sound of a “Star Wars” light saber when the iPhone is waved around, to the “inspirational” Star Finder that shows information on the night sky, depending on the user’s location.

But Pishevar’s got a new pet peeve. While Apple’s iTunes pauses a song during a call and starts playing where it left off afterward, third-party applications such as Pandora’s music service quit when Pishevar used other iPhone features.

“Applications should not stop working when you go away,” he said. “For a game, you shouldn’t lose where you are.”

WHERE’S THE VIDEO?

Rob Biederman, 21, who works at an investment bank, gave up his BlackBerry for an iPhone, but was upset to find he could only buy songs from iTunes when his device is linked to Wi-Fi — short-range wireless networks found in places like cafes.

“That was a big disappointment because I expected to be able to download songs from iTunes,” said Biederman, who wants to be able to buy new music right after a cool new song catches his attention in a shop or on the street.

Many other phones sold by US iPhone provider AT&T Inc and its rivals Verizon Wireless and Sprint Nextel can downloads music from other music services over cell links.

Ben Gersch, 31, loves his new iPhone but was disappointed that it lacks the ability to record video or the option to turn the camera to the front for video conferencing.

“Looking right at the phone and talking to people would be interesting,” said the New York-based portrait painter. “The technology is there. It’s an easy jump.”
